  8. This script will allow the user to select files to be string
  9. searched by GNU Grep V2.0, (util/gnu/grep_2_0.lha), the results of
  10. which will be entered into new lister.  The user will be able to
  11. select either to view or edit an entry, using double-click or shift-
  12. double-click respectively.

  22. V1.0 - It exists, therefore it is.  Could only display non-recurring matches.
  23. V1.1 - Made use of new DOpus5.5 commands to display matches.
  24. V1.2 - Correction to grep call to allow search for strings with spaces.
  25. V1.3 - Added check for rexxsupport.library.
  26.        Displays keyword and VERY short instructions in Status bar.
  27.        Displays number of matches found in titlebar.
  28.        Now handles filenames with spaces in them better.
  29.        Handles filenames with quotes better.
  30.        Added 'grep' option.

  32.        NOTE: A filename with a space in it will be passed to your editor
  33.              WITHOUT surrounding quotes.  See CEDatline.rexx for a simple
  34.              check for spaces and adding of quotes. (Only been tested with
  35.              CED V3.5)
  36.              However, it will be passed to your prefered viewer WITH
  37.              surrounding quotes.  (Been tested with internal dopus viewer
  38.              and More.)
